In the following, we will show you various ways that you can a second phone be able to connect:
- Option 1: Directly to the Router to connect – Many routers offer more than one telephone connection. These then have to be configured individually in the administration interface.
- Option 2: the DECT – cordless phones without any problems connecting. To do this you must simply press the DECT button on the Router and your phone to find locations. Thereafter, the device is on the phone.
- Option 3: A base – Many phones have a base and any number of mobile. The mobile parts you need to register then, just at the base, which is directly connected to your Router. Here are all of the mobile parts, however, the same phone number.
- Option 4: Second phone socket – If you have in your apartment or your house has a second phone socket, you can use this. Make before sure, however, whether this was put into operation. You ask the best with your provider.

- In General, you should inform yourself in advance whether you have two telephone lines on the part of the provider.
- If this is not the case, we recommend the third option. You need to connect only to the Router and all other register handsets to this.
- This also saves on the cabling, if the second phone must be a little further away, since the mobile parts are connected by radio with the base.
