The Scanner is not – you can do
- May be disabled in a USB Hub , the communication between the Scanner and the PC. Connect the Scanner directly to the Computer via USB.
- Often a driver is out of date. Check in the "control panel" > "device Manager" if the driver for your Scanner is available and up to date.
- Make sure that the Scanner is correctly turned on before you start the scanning process.
- There may also be a fault on the connection cable. Replace this to the Test.
- Make sure that your Scanner or related Software is not blocked by anti-virus system or Firewall.
- If the Scanner issues an error message, you should check in the manual whether there is a solution.
- If your Scanner is connect via WLAN with the Computer, make sure that the device is not too far away from the Computer to the Wi-Fi will not be disturbed connection or even interrupted.
- Open the "Windows photo gallery" and click on "file" > "import From camera or Scanner". If your Scanner is listed here, you can try a Scan.
- If does not help, probably only a reinstall of the driver. Uninstall it in the "device Manager" and then try again.
- Make sure that you have installed the appropriate driver for your operating system. If there is no driver for your System, contact the manufacturer.
