If your PC no longer runs after experimentation with the BIOS settings, you can reset it via a Jumper.

The BIOS reset Jumper

Almost all motherboards have a so-called "Clear CMOS Jumper". This is usually near the BIOS battery (a large, flat button cell). In the case of Boards of some manufacturers, the Jumper may also have a different name. In this case, consult the manual.
  1. Disconnect your PC from the mains by pulling the power cord, before you remove the Jumper. Otherwise, you could damage your Computer.
  2. You put the Clear CMOS Jumper from the "default position" (usually pins 1-2) to the "delete position" (usually pins 2-3) and wait a few seconds. Then reset the Jumper back to the starting position.
