Which memory is compatible with my Computer?
- There are of memory type DDR, DDR2 and DDR3. Your Computer is from the year 2008 or later, is a DDR3 memory with a high probability of distress.
- In the motherboard manual to find out which type is accepted by the memory. Manuals you can find on the manufacturer's website for Download.
- The free Tool CPU-Z tells you what RAM is installed type. To do this, go easy at the top of the Tool to the tab "Memory".

- You can use a 32-Bit System Windows, you can use a maximum of 4 Gbytes of memory. You want to use more RAM you need a 64-Bit System.
- Open the control panel and select, under the category "System and security", the "System". In the line "Installed memory (RAM)", you will find the built-in memory.
- This does not tally with the newly installed RAM, re-read in the next paragraph. Note: The usable memory is always a few Hundred MB less than the installed.

The memory is not furnished at the time of first detection properly, you need to set up the modules step-by-step:
- Turn off your Computer and remove all RAM modules. You blow in the slots to remove dust. With a micro-fibre cloth you can clean the contacts of the memory.
- Now insert a module and start your Computer. Check as in the above paragraph in the control panel, whether the memory has been detected.
- Turn off the Computer, remove the RAM module and check to you on the same way all other modules.
- All of the modules in order, you will be put back on the first module, reboot the PC and check the acceptance. You can then use after each time you Start another module.
