To install Maxdome on the Amazon Fire TV
If you watch movies and Videos on your Fire TV via Maxdome want to enjoy, it is no big Problem. We will show you how to get the App on the Fire TV:
- First download the Minimal ADB and Fastboot and the required Amazon FireTV Utility App.
- Next, you will need the APK file from Maxdome, so basically the Android App. This allows you to on different number of pages to download (e.g. via Google search).
- Then open the Utility App and click "Root your AFTV". Then you must specify the network address of the Fire TV, which you can find under "settings" > "System" > "Info".
- Enter this in the Utility App and set the hook at "Normal debug mode". Now should open a window with "Success", which confirms the operation.
- Then click in the Utility App to "Select APK to Sideboard" and then select the Maxdome APK that you have downloaded.
- You can confirm this by clicking on "sideloading". Also here is a separate window that shows the progress of the Installation opens.
- Now switch to your Fire TV and select "settings" > "applications" > "manage All installed applications". The Maxdome is shown-the App now and you can start.
- Since the remote control is not currently supported, you need to use the Fire TV to a USB mouse.
