Baking time is different: graphics cards-revival
Are single Tin conductor tracks on the printed circuit Board of the graphics card korridiert, directs the Material worse. Therefore, it can cause a disturbed image or your video card is useless. If you heat the Board in the oven, directs the Material and your video card can become functional again. Attention! This tip is only for experts who have experience in dealing with Hardware!
- The first step is to remove the radiator and all the plastic parts of your graphics card. You can also remove the thermal paste from the GPU and make sure that you have enough thermal paste.
- Pre-heat your oven to approximately 120 °C circulating air. Finished pre-heating, place your Board on a baking sheet in the oven (see picture).
- Let your graphics card is now 20-30 minutes in the oven. Optionally, you can wrap the card in a layer of aluminum foil, so the heat is distributed optimally.
- The time is up, take your Board very carefully from the oven and leave for half an hour to cool down.
- Back build the cooler again and don't forget the thermal paste!
- Plug the video card back into your computer and try if it works.
- If not, repeat everything with 30 °C and more.
