USB-Stick with Tesa fixed
In order to save but still important data from the USB Stick, you have two possibilities – but in any case, you need to remove the Stick gently. Then, wrap the memory chips tightly with Scotch Tape. In this way, the memory can be pressed blocks fixed to your contacts. The Stick works again, copy all the data down quickly.

This method should not lead to success, there is a last Chance – but beware, the device can be destroyed as well permanently!
- Insert the USB-Stick for five minutes at 200 °C in the (preheated) oven. In this way, the solder melts and all of the contacts are nachgelötet at the same time.
- It is also important here is that previously all the plastic enclosure parts have been removed.
- If the RAM modules are soldered on one side of the Board, set it up. The plastic in the USB connector should withstand the short drastic times without prejudice.
- The five minutes are up, turn off the oven and open the oven door. You leave the Stick in place to cool, to move on without him. After about 30 minutes, you can take the memory stick out and try, whether the Rescue operation was working.
