Alexa on the Fire TV Stick turn off - is that possible?
- On the new Amazon Fire TV Stick, Alexa is inevitable. On the old Fire TV Stick you get Alexa only with the latest Software Update and an additional voice remote control.
- Tap often on the Alexa Button, or you do not want to feed Amazon's data octopus with information that seems to be the switching Off of Alexa, the most sensible solution. Unfortunately, however, this is not possible at the moment.
- Alexa is not enabled and the commands fed, are also collected no data. Alexa, however, is an integral part of the Software, and therefore not on the Fire TV Stick off.
- Note: the Fire TV Stick, Alexa does not make quite as much sense as the Amazon Echo. With the Amazon Alexa App for iOS and Alexa App for Android can do much more functions.
