Dell Venue 8 (7840): restore factory settings
- Press and hold the Power Button to the left of the device is pressed and turn off the Dell Venue 8 completely from.
- You now hold the Power Button and the volume down Button for a few seconds.
- The Dell Logo appears on the screen release the Power Button and hold only the volume down Button pressed.
- You navigate with the volume buttons to "Recovery" and select with the Power Button.
- The Android Logo appears, press two Times in a row at the same time on the two volume buttons.
- Then, select the Option "wipe data/factory reset" and confirm the process. After about 5 minutes you can set up the Dell Venue 8 new.
