CPU temperature in the BIOS to retrieve
In order to determine the CPU temperature, you don't need a mandatory add-on software. The Software of the boards, the so-called BIOS, provides this data, too.
- Restart your Computer and you call on when you start the BIOS menu. Depending on the BIOS manufacturer, you must press for example, press the [F1], [F2] or [Del]. If in doubt, please consult the documentation of the motherboard.
- The BIOS gives you, depending on the manufacturer and Version is a more or less large number of setting options available. You are looking for the "H/W Monitor", "Hardware Monitor", "PC-Health", "Health", etc.
- You move with the arrow keys on this menu item, or use the mouse, if your computer has a so-called UEFI-BIOS.
- Under the entry "CPU Temperature" you will now see the current temperature.
How to use the BIOS reset can be read here.
