You want to read out the CPU temperature of your computer? How the BIOS can help, you can find here.

CPU temperature in the BIOS to retrieve

In order to determine the CPU temperature, you don't need a mandatory add-on software. The Software of the boards, the so-called BIOS, provides this data, too.
  1. Restart your Computer and you call on when you start the BIOS menu. Depending on the BIOS manufacturer, you must press for example, press the [F1], [F2] or [Del]. If in doubt, please consult the documentation of the motherboard.
  2. The BIOS gives you, depending on the manufacturer and Version is a more or less large number of setting options available. You are looking for the "H/W Monitor", "Hardware Monitor", "PC-Health", "Health", etc.
  3. You move with the arrow keys on this menu item, or use the mouse, if your computer has a so-called UEFI-BIOS.
  4. Under the entry "CPU Temperature" you will now see the current temperature.
