Minecraft LabyMod: Installation and first steps

In this practical tip we will explain how you can use the LabyMod for Minecraft install.

LabyMod: What the Mod brings?

The LabyMod offers numerous features that improve the game significantly.

If you go into a Minecraft world, you discover, when you press [Esc] on the top left of the new button. One of them is the Button "Chat". Here you can chat with your friends, even if they are located on the same Server.
In the case of "Tags" you can give a player a Nickname.
In the settings, you can now find the "LabyMod Settings", where you can set the Ping to be displayed to a Server, or that the FPS should be displayed.

First, make sure that you have Minecraft already started once, and that Java is installed.

Then go to the LabyMod Homepage and download the LabyMod for your Version.
Next, run the downloaded JAR file and click on "Next".
Now you can choose which Mods you want to install in addition to the LabyMod. Then click again on "Next".
Make sure that the Minecraft directory is automatically selected for Installation and click "Install LabyMod".
In the Minecraft Launcher, you can now select the LabyMod Version and start it.
