Polar m400: Soft Reset
If the watch has been suspended, and your user input is not responding, you can perform a Soft Reset. Here's how:
- Press the Soft Reset at the same time the keys"","","light" and "Back". Press and hold this for five seconds.
- Then the Boot Animation and the clock will start as usual.
- Your data will remain preserved in this way. The only time you may need to set new.

Polar m400: factory reset
A factory reset deletes all data from the watch. For example, this can be useful if you want to sell the watch. Even if the Soft Reset can't fix an error, you can resort to this method. Here's how:
- For the factory reset, you will need the Software to Polar flow sync, the you on the website of the manufacturer.
- You install the Software, start the program and connect your Polar m400 via the USB cable to your computer. On the surface of the Software, the Text "Polar M400 appears to be connected".
- Then click on the bottom right on the small Gear icon and then the Button "reset to factory settings".
- Disconnect the clock after the Reset of your PC and connect again. This start automatically with the polar flow web service, where you can login with your previous Login information.
- You now confirm the settings and select the Button "Finish".
