Play Store with Cyanogenmod install - how to

You use Cyanogenmod on your Android Smartphone, you need to install the Google Play Store separately. We will show you step-by-step, how to do it.

  1. Open the website of OpenGApps, you can here choose between different packages.
  2. You decide for a platform, the correct Version of Android as well as for a variant of the GApps.

  1. Boot up your Android Smartphone in Recovery Mode.
  2. Select with the arrow keys to select "install zip" then "choose zip from sdcard". Locate the ZIP file and select it. The Google Apps are now installed, including Gmail, the Play Store or hangouts.
  3. Once the Installation is complete, return to the main menu and reboot your Smartphone. The GApps should be installed.
