OnePlus One vs. Nexus 5 - comparison
- Size and weight: The Nexus 5 has dimensions of 137.8 x 69.2 x 8.6 mm and 130 grams. The OnePlus One is 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm and is slightly larger and weighs a little more: 162 grams.
- Processor and memory: The Nexus 5 has been equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with 2.26 GHz and uses 2 GB of memory. The OnePlus One offers the slightly more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with 2.5 GHz and has 3 GB of memory.
- Operating system: The Nexus 5 is currently running Android 4.4.4 KitKat, starting in 2015, it will receive the new Android 5.0. The OnePlus One has already installed a Root (CyanogenMod 11S), which is based on Android 4.4.
- Storage space: The Nexus 5 offers a model with 16 and 32 GB of memory. The OnePlus One is offering, however, the versions in 16 and 64 GB. Both memory not by SD card expandable.
- Display: Both devices have a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, the screen from the Nexus 5, however, is only of 4.95 inches, the OnePlus One whole 5.5 inches. The consequence of this is that the pixel density, the Nexus 5 is 445 ppi, much higher than the One with 401 ppi.
