GMail, GMX and Web.de in Gmail, integrate
With the new Update of the GMail App for Android you can now integrate other E-Mail-accounts like GMX and web.de :
- You open the GMail App after the Update, for the first Time, you can directly create a new account. Otherwise, select the three bars in the top left of the App.
- In the side menu then open the settings in the GMail App.
- There you will find the Option "add account". You can then select whether you want to add a new Google account or an IMAP/POP account.
- Select IMAP/POP and enter the Mail address of your GMX or Web.de-account.
- As a last step, enter the password to your account.

GMail: in the Mail account manually add
The GMail App should recognize your E-Mail provider directly, you can set up your account manually:
- After you have selected a new IMAP/POP account, you must enter your E-Mail address. The Button for manual setup, please refer to the bottom left.
- You then select whether you want to add an IMAP or POP account.
- After you have entered your password for the appropriate account, you can make settings to Server and Port.
- GMX: Server "pop.gmx.net" / Port "995"
- Web.de: Server "pop.web.de" / Port "995"
