If you use the Komoot navigation app, you can import and export routes in GPX format. Well show you how to do this in this Parxis tip.

Export GPX to Komoot – this is how it works

Komoot doesnt just import routes in GPX format. Exporting is also possible.

  1. However, export is currently only possible via the Android app . iOS users have to go via the Komoot website. The tour must be planned or recorded. Tour suggestions cannot be exported.
  2. As an Android user, select the route you want to export. Open the menu by tapping the three dots at the top right of the screen.
  3. Select “ Export GPX file ” here. You will be asked which app you want to use or which device you want the file to be passed to.
  4. The way via the Komoot website is also easy. Log in with your access data.
  5. Open the tour you want to export and select “ Download for GPS device ” in the menu on the right.
