Android contacts on the SD card or internal memory
Alternatively, you can also secure the contacts in VCARDS format on a SD card or in the internal memory of your smartphone. Although the necessary function is already integrated in the Android contact app, the exact procedure varies from device to device.
- Open the menu and select the "Settings" entry. In the "Manage contacts" section, tap "Export". Select the desired account and then "Export to VCF file".
- Alternatively, tap the "Import/Export" point in the menu. Select the location of your contacts and set the export goal.
- On some devices you will find the item "Manage contacts" in the menu. Select it and then tap on "Secure". Determine the goal. Mark the contacts to be secured and complete the process.
- To restore the contacts, you must "import" instead of "export" at the respective position and then determine the VCF file and determine the goal.

Android contacts on the computer secure
Alternatively, you can also save the backup of the contacts on the computer. There are also several different options for this.
