If the update on the smartphone fails, you can also use the PC to install an Android update.

  1. The manufacturers provide the right software for your PC. If you have a Samsung smartphone, use Samsung Smart Switch . Huawei-users reach for the Hisuite , while Sony smartphones can be managed with Sony Xperia Companion . With all programs, the process for updating the software is similar.

  3. Then open the manufacturer software that you have downloaded and installed. In the program you will find the item "System update" that you click.
  4. Now it is checked whether an update is available for your smartphone. If so, you can now install this.
