Firefox search engine on the Android cell phone manage
On the Smartphone Firefox, you can find the configuration of the search engines in the add-ons menu.
- To do this, open the settings of the Firefox App and then tap on "tools" and "Add-ons".
- In addition to possible other extensions, this list shows the set search engines where the aforementioned four are directly integrated.
- To disable it, tap it, and in the following Dialog, click "Disable". Just as you can select later the search engines again and "Enable".
- Insert additional search engines, tap on the icon to the right of "your Add-ons". In the following Dialog you have to enter the search term such as "Yahoo" or "Bing" in the box on the page and then tap on the green arrow. Are you looking for in the results list, the suitable Add-on, such as, for example, "Yahoo Search for Firefox for Android".
- Then you can open the detail display and tap on "add To Firefox". Confirm the demand for the new search engine using "Add".
