Android N via OTA: you should know
- For the Installation of Android N need a current Nexus device. This includes the following devices: Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus Player and Google Pixel C Tablet according to Google.
- Android N will be installed like any other Software Update via OTA. Google recommends, for security reasons, before a Backup of your data create. Do the operation one day, undo, will Android 6.0 be installed and all the data on your Smartphone will be deleted.
- Alternatively, you can use Android N also via Sideload a Factory Image install.

- Open the following web page of Google and log in to your Account.
- You use a to Android N compatible device, select it here.
- You will then receive within a few seconds a notification on your Smartphone.
- You confirm to Download the Update via the Button Android N like any other Software Update installed.
- You want to remove Android N to a later time, open the above website and click on "Unenroll Device".
