Google Maps: rename favourites on the Browser
Unfortunately, you can't rename favorite locations directly on the Maps App of Android. This works only on a web page in your Browser - either on a PC or on your Smartphone or Tablet:
- Open your Browser and call the address www.google.com/bookmarks/ on.
- Click to the right of the favorite you want to rename, click "edit".
- In the field "Name" enter the desired name for the favorite. Then click on "Save".
