Silent mode in Android 5.0 Lollipop: set breaks
When you reach the volume buttons to the lowest setting, the Vibration is still active. To turn it off, you need to set the interruptions.
- Press one of the volume buttons.
- Below the volume bar you can adjust the breaks. You have the choice between "None", "Important", or "All".
- Press on the "Important", and then click the white Gear icon.
- You can now specify which notifications an alert to sound. All other are only displayed on the Display without ringing, without vibrating.

An Alternative to the Silent mode: the Smartphone via airplane mode, mute
You need your Smartphone as a watch, alarm clock or notes to be by phone calls or messages being disturbed, also helps you in the airplane mode.
- Swipe with two fingers across the top of the screen of your smartphone and drag the bar down.
- Press "airplane mode".
- Your Android phone can now be continued as an alarm clock, at and co. use. Calls or messages not getting through, however.
