The Support for Windows XP expired on 8.4.14. Create a limited user account and surf this on your Windows XP System. You have no Admin rights and can install programs but can also cause viruses and Malware that get through security vulnerabilities on your PC, no major damage.

In Windows XP, a restricted user account create

  1. Click on the bottom left "Start"icon, then select the "control panel" and go to the "user accounts".
  2. In the "user accounts"view, click on "create New account".
  3. At this point, enter your user account a name and confirm with "Next".
  4. Select as type the Option "Restricted", and create the account on "account".
  5. You will be automatically redirected in the accounts view. Click here now to your newly created limited account and select "create password".
  6. Enter a password and save it again using "create password".
  7. You go back to the Start menu and select "logout".
  8. You choose "switch user" and log in with the new, limited user account.
