Windows Phone as a Wi-Fi Hotspot to use -- here's how it works

With your Windows Phone, you can set up a Wi-Fi Hotspot. So you get devices without a mobile Internet connection such as Tablets or laptops to access the WWW. The Hotspot is quick to set up and immediately usable.

Windows Phone: a Hotspot set up

  1. Open the settings-App of your smartphone.
  2. Select the item "Internet sharing".
  3. Turn on the sharing, by pressing the only available button.
  4. Now your Hotspot can be used theoretically, because he was set up with default settings. To determine the Name and password of the hotspot itself, you can tap on "Set up".
  5. That your Hotspot is active, you will see the corresponding icon in the status bar at the top.

Keep in mind that the Internet usage will be deducted on a Hotspot of your monthly data volume. You don't, so be careful to let too many devices at the same time, and for a long time.
