Duplicate files under Windows with Anti-Twin clear
- Download the free program "Anti-Twin Portable" and open the file. The program starts automatically, it requires no Installation.
- At the top, choose a "base" folder, i.e. the folder in which you want to search for duplicates. Recommend individual folder such as "music" or the whole user folder either. Optionally, you can enter including a second folder.
- Set include the hook in front of the item "under folder" and click on the Button "file Filter". Here, you can limit the size of the files, or only certain file types allow.
- Now you can select which location criteria, the files are to be compared. For example, search for pieces of music, it is recommended in the next item (the methods) to put the Match on a value of approximately 90 percent. This is useful, since duplicates bear a slightly different name.
- Then click the Button "scan for duplicate files" will start the process. Depending on the contents of the folder, this may take a few minutes.

Tips to search for duplicate files
