Windows 8.1 will bring without a password from Standby
- You go to the start screen and search for "power options". You open the eponymous tile.
- Click request on the left of "password at reactivation".
- In this menu, you can't possibly select all settings. In this case, click on the blue Link "change settings that are currently not available.".
- Then set the selection to "password not required" and click save Changes. Then your PC will be locked to the Standby mode.
