Bluetooth under Windows 8.1 activate
- Proceed with the mouse to the upper-right or lower-right corner of the screen, so that the Charm Bar opens.
- Select at the very bottom of the "settings" and then "change PC settings".
- It is a new window in which you select on the left of the category "PC and devices" opens.
- Under the menu item "Bluetooth", you can activate the component. It will then search for available devices with which you then can connect.
- Alternatively, you will also come across the Windows search to the Bluetooth-settings - simply enter "Bluetooth".
Important note: The above instructions will of course only work if your laptop/PC via Bluetooth. To check, go to Windows device Manager (see image) - if the blue Bluetooth icon does not appear, your device is not bluetooth capable.
