Volume icon in task bar show/ hide
- Start the control panel in Windows 8 by clicking the Windows Button and "control panel" to enter.
- Here, select the "appearance and personalization".
- In the next window, click on "customize icons on the taskbar" under the "taskbar".
- In the setting window, select next to the Option "volume" in the selection menu an Option.
- You can either show icon and notifications or hide, or even just the notification on the display.
