Library under Windows 8 delete
- To delete a library in Windows 8, first open the Explorer with the key combination [Windows] + [E].
- Click in the column "libraries" with the right mouse button on the corresponding library that you want to delete. In the context menu choose the Option "Delete".
- If you want to remove the library functions completely from your System, open the Registry Editor and navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace". Delete the key "{031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5}".
