Windows 8 install Updates manually
You Update open Windows on the right and turn the Option "review your update history" view. In addition to the title of the failed Updates you will find in parentheses a KB number in the Form "(KB1234567)". Make a note of this number.
- Open the Microsoft Download Center and search at the top right after the KB number.
- Find the correct Update, you will be directed to the Download page of the update.
- You can use the top as the first language, in German (German).
- Click below on the Option "Installation instructions" and read this. The Update contains multiple files, you can find here, and in what order to install them. The wrong sequence will result in a faulty Installation.
- The Button starts the Download of the Download. The Update consists of several Parts, you need to select all of the parts.
- You can then open the files in the correct order. The Installation starts automatically.
