At Windows startup the user login automatically
If you want to log in with your user name in Windows 7 automatically, proceed as follows:
- Click on the Windows Logo in the lower left corner to open the start menu.
- Now enter in "search programs and files" the word "netplwiz", and open the recorded program. Alternatively, you can also click on "Run...", here "netplwiz" and press Enter to confirm.
- A new window "user accounts" opens. Here you can select under "users for this computer" the user under which you want to in the future to automatically sign you in. Then uncheck the "users must enter a user name and password" (see Screenshot) and click on the bottom right "Apply".
- In the next window, the "Automatic login" you now have to enter your password for security reasons twice. Confirm your input with "OK". The window "user accounts" close with "OK".
- Now you are logged in when you Start Windows 7 automatically. You no longer have to enter your password for your user account. You want to make this again, undo, repeat the first two steps and then re-check "users must enter a user name and password".
