Windows 7 will ask you before Deleting files, respectively, to confirm this. This Dialog can be switched off - as you can read in this practical tip.

Dialog to confirm the deletion off

The dialog box to switch off, proceed as follows:
  1. Click with the right mouse button on the recycle bin and select "properties".
  2. Now when you disable an entry "dialog box to confirm the deletion process" hook and click "OK".
  3. As soon as you delete files, they are moved directly to the trash without having to click on "confirm".
