Windows 10 Update undo: So it's back to Windows 7 and 8

Microsoft distributed since 29. July, the new operating system Windows 10 as a free Update. You can make this Upgrade undo. Within a month, this works fine over a dedicated restore function.

Update on Windows 10 undo

If Windows 10 doesn't like, you can use the restore function back to Windows 8 or Windows 7 switch. This works until a month after the Update. Your data and programs remain intact.
  1. Go to the start menu and click on "settings".
  2. Select "Update security" and click "restore".
  3. Here, click "return To Windows 8.1" or "to return To Windows 7" to "get started" and follow the instructions.

Windows 8 or Windows 7 back after a month

If the month, the Microsoft granted for the Test has expired, only helps to reinstall your old Version of Windows.
  • Insert the operating system DVD and install the old Version of Windows.
  • If you have no DVD, you can get your old operating system to download and from a USB Stick or a DVD to install.
