Windows 10: error 0x80d02002 - you should do
The error 0x80d02002 usually occurs when Windows 10 will not install an Update.
- First enter "cmd" into the Windows search box, right-click on the command prompt and select "run As Administrator".
- Then run the commands "net stop wuauserv", "net stop cryptSvc", "net stop bits" and "net stop msiserver".
- Type in "ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old" and "ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old" one.
- You can start with "net start wuauserv", "net start cryptSvc", "net start bits" and "net start msiserver" in the services again.
- Now restart your Computer and try to install the Update. If this still does not work, you can do it manually with the Media Creation Tool to install.
