Windows 10 DVD Player: Overpriced nonsense with good alternatives
- Providing a native DVD app with the Windows 10 upgrade is actually a nice gesture from Microsoft, especially considering that the Media Center, which was very popular for some, has disappeared from the scene. However, the DVD app with a limited range of functions is simply overpriced at just under 15 euros.
- Even the performance leaves something to be desired, as it takes a while for the player to start after inserting the DVD. Films in the form of MP4 files or Blu-rays, for example, are also not supported.
