TCP - and IP address - what is it?
TCP and IP are components of a Protocol family, which is essential for the Internet. The two protocols "Transmission Control Protocol" (TCP) and Internet Protocol (IP) to ensure that data packets arrive in a local or global network at the receiver.
- Advantages: The TCP/IP-System is a universal System. It is not bound to any Soft - or Hardware and work with any application. As long as a user knows the correct address of a Website or other computer with which it wants to connect, takes care of TCP/IP automatically to the Assembly and disassembly of the connection and the Transmission.
