Protected system files in Windows 7 view
Under Windows 7, the protected system files with just a few hand movements to display. Note, however, that these files are not hidden, without a reason, out of the house! In the Windows System with incorrect Changes or delete necessary files, can occur during the system execution may have problems.
- Open the Windows Explorer by going to the "Computer" from the Windows start menu.
- Now click top left on "Organize" (see Screenshot).
- From the menu, choose "folder and search options". A new window will open.

- Remove under "Advanced settings" the check mark at "hide Protected operating system files (recommended)". Now also the Windows system files are displayed.

In Windows 8, you proceed quite similar to as described above. Only the way how you come to the folder options menu is different:
- You can open the Charms menu in Windows 8 and click on "Search".
- As the search option, select "settings" and search for "folder options".
- The search hits will lead you to the folder options menu; there, you take the same setting as above, under point 5 for Win7 described.
