Windows: Num Lock permanently activate
The number block, you can turn on with a small Change in the Registry permanently. To do this, open the registry database of your computer:
- Simultaneously press the keys [Windows] and [R], so that the window "Run" opens.
- Enter the command "regedit" and confirm with "OK". Then the registry Editor will start.
- Here, you can navigate on the left to the path "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard".
- Click on the right-hand side double-click with the mouse on the key "InitialKeyboardIndicators" to open a small window.
- In this, change the value from "0" to "2" and confirm with "OK". The value should be higher, you increase the existing value to 2.
- Repeat the step, finally, for the same key in the path "HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard".
