HomeGroup to create or join HomeGroup
To share your files with others, you need to have to join a HomeGroup. Not yet exist, you must create a new one.
- Open the control panel.
- Click on "network and Internet" and then on "HomeGroup". It is now sought to HomeGroup in your network. If a HomeGroup is found, you must enter the corresponding password.
- If no HomeGroup is found, you must create a new one. To do this, click the bottom right to "create HomeGroup".
- In the Dialog click next and select which type of files you want to share. If you want to only share individual files, not select released best first, everywhere "". Click on "Next".
- After a short time, you will be shown the password for the HomeGroup, which you should note. You can also at any time in the control panel, take a look.
- The HomeGroup is now created. Other PCs in your network should find this now, and with the password can use.

If you are in a HomeGroup, you can share files or entire folders, so that other participants can share.
- In Explorer, navigate to the file that you want to share.
- Click on it and select the top menu, the tab "Sharing". Here you have different options to choose from.
- If you want to deploy the file to the home network only to View, i.e. with read-only access, select "HomeGroup (view)".
- You want to place the file in addition to editing, select "Heimnetzgrupee (view and edit)".
- If you want to give the file only for a specific Person, click on "Specific people" and select in the following Dialog.
- You do not want to share the file with, select to the left of the selection window for the "stop sharing".
- On the far right under "Advanced security", you will find other options to release, for example, the Monitoring of the file.
