Mouse pointer flickers and flickers - that helps
If the mouse pointer flickers and flickers across the screen, you must first find out the cause. Then the problem can usually be solved quickly.
- Reboot: If the problem has just occurred, a simple reboot will help in many cases. Small errors in the cache thus vanish into thin air.
- Updates: If you have installed an update for a driver or for Windows, this may be the cause. If possible, try to undo the update.
- Graphics card: Right-click on the desktop, you can access the graphics card settings via the context menu. Here you will find numerous configurations that can affect the mouse pointer. Among other things, you should look for the "Improve pointer appearance" option and disable it.
- USB wireless mouse: If you have a USB wireless mouse , the flickering can indicate a low battery level. Recharge the mouse to stop the flickering.
