iTunes export library to another disk
To be able to your iTunes library on a hard drive or another Computer, you need to move the folder with your music.
- First, find the folder "iTunes Media". These you can find in Mac and MacBook via the Spotlight search Windows with the Search function. Alternatively, you can simply start iTunes: By clicking on "settings" > "Advanced" you will see the path of the iTunes Media folder. (see picture)
- Drag the folder completely to an external data - for example, a USB Stick or a hard drive.
- Connect the data carrier after Copying to the other Computer, on the "iTunes" installed must be. You do not start the program yet.
- Now you need to copy the iTunes Media folder into the correct folder and the existing folder to replace. On Windows and Mac systems by default under the user directory in the folder "music".
- The next time you Start iTunes you should see all your Songs.
