A file in Windows 8 hide
To hide a file, you must change its properties:
- Click with the right mouse button on a file and open its "properties".
- Under the Tab "General" you will find at the very bottom of two attributes: "read-only" and "Hidden".
- A file in the folders hide - to hide so put a tick in the Option "Hidden".

You have hidden files, you can set in the view options if you have Windows 8 you to view or to hide.
- You can open any folder or open the Explorer by pressing the key combination Windows+E.
- Click in the upper menu bar on "view". The second control from the right you will find a button to "show/ hide" elements.
- The lowest point in the menu "show/ hide" determines whether hidden files are displayed. Put a check mark in front this Option to display hidden files, or you remove the hook, if you want to hide hidden files.
