The biggest problems with the Downgrade from Vista to XP and how to solve them
- In addition to the actual Installation of the "old" Windows XP is the most crucial requirement for the Downgrade: compatible drivers. - A special case of this problem: SATA hard drives, as they are used in modern PCs/Notebooks, it does not recognize XP for lack of drivers at all. Therefore, you should create a custom XP installation CD with SATA drivers. For this, you should follow the instructions in the CHIP Forum follow.
