1. Opportunity: Windows XP via the Internet to enable
- Open the start menu and click "All programs" > "accessories" > "system tools" and select "Windows activate".
- A new window will open. Enter here to "Yes, Windows now activate by using the Internet" and confirm with "Next".
- In the next step, you must enter the license key. You can find this either on your PC or on the cover of the installation CD.
- Confirm with "OK" and wait until the activation is completed.
- Windows was successfully activated over the Internet.

2. Ability to: license of Windows XP via telephone activate
- You can open as described above, the Windows activation and select "Yes, Windows by phone via the customer service representative to activate" and confirm with "Next".
- In the first field, you must specify from which country you come from. Here you can select "Germany" from the list.
- Then call the number that is displayed in the second step. In the process, you must specify the customer service is the number that is specified in the third step.
- The customer service calls you with a verification number. This you must enter in the fourth step and confirm with "Next".
- After that, Windows XP has been successfully activated.
