LED and OLED in comparison
LED stands for "(inorganic) light-emitting diode" OLED for "Organic light-emitting diode". This results in the following differences:
- LED so-called point light sources, OLEDs are area emitters.
- The OLED light is soft and diffuse.
- The OLED lifespan is currently lower than it was in the case of LED.
- Also, the energy efficiency of OLED a bit worse than in the case of LED.
- OLED Displays are, however, contrast with, the colours were richer.
