What is the refresh rate?
- The refresh rate indicates how many images are displayed per second on a Monitor. The measure is used for PC monitors but also for TV.
- The refresh frequency is, for example, at 100 Hertz, it will display 100 images per second on the screen.
- The Hertz number is under 50, can start the image for the human eye to flicker. This does not look good, and quickly solves a headache.
- Note: A TV with 200 Hertz is not necessarily better than another TV with a lower Hertz rate. The technique is implemented worse, the higher the Hertz number no advantage.
In the next practice tip, you will learn how much Hertz your TV should have.
