With the XPS Document Writer and XPS files to create
The XPS file format - short for XML Paper Specification developed by Microsoft as an Alternative to the widely used PDF Format. It can be used to Save image and Text documents. To create the XPS Document Writer XPS files, proceed as follows:
- You open the Printing menu of a program - for example, in Microsoft Word or in Outlook.
- Select the "XPS Document Writer" in the printer list. In the dialog box "print settings" you can switch between portrait and landscape format.
- Click on "Print".
- Now you can select the location and name of the file. Click on "Save".
