XML-file to open and edit
If you want to open an XML document, you don't really need special Software for it:
- It is a simple text editor is sufficient, such as it is, for example, in Windows, already.
- Because, in essence, XML is simply a text document with a simple Syntax. With so-called Tags, you can enclose values in text form and in this way, in a tree structure to arrange.
- Often, it is simply neater and more practical if you use a Tool that automatic Syntax Highlighting and formatting.
- Windows manage, for example, with the slender Editor Notepad++ or gedit under Linux (see Screenshot).
