Windows 8: the permissions of the Apps to change
Apps in Windows 8, by default, have access to various personal data. These permissions you can change, and so self-certain of what information you disclose. We will show you how to do that.
App permissions in Windows 8 change
- Open the Charms Bar by placing the mouse pointer in the upper right or lower corner of the screen.
- Click on "settings" and "PC settings".
- Select the "privacy"category.
- With three little sliders, you set the following options on the "on" or "Off" and thus determine what data are for Apps accessible:
- "I agree that Apps access to my location" will transmit your location information, which may be for local weather information useful.
- The second Option, "I agree that Apps use my name and my profile picture" is critical.
