VLC-Buffer correctly set - this is how it works
Of the Buffer, and the buffer, it loads the content from the Stream in advance and play them for only a few seconds later. Thus, a stutter-free Stream can be made possible in spite of slow Internet connection.
- Open the VLC Media Player on your Computer.
- Click on the top left in the menu bar, click "media" and select below the "Stream".
- It is a new window, in which you can switch to the tab "network" will open.
- Enter here the URL of the stream.
- You put at the bottom of the window, the hook, before the "show More options". The window is enlarged, so that more configuration options are available.
- In the "Caching" is set to a default value of 300 milliseconds. This 0.3 seconds for a fast Internet connection most of the time. Your is too slow, you must increase the value. You start initially with 1000 ms (see image).
- Now click on the Button "Stream", and then again on "Stream" so that it starts.
- The Transmission should still Stalled, increase the value to 2000 milliseconds or even higher. The buffer time can increase so long, until you can enjoy the Stream of liquid.
